The Prius Family

The Prius Family

With gas prices that keep going up it just keeps getting harder and harder to pull into that gas station knowing how much money your about to put in the tank, and with the holiday season coming up that’s means extra traveling which means more gas and more money. What is the solution? How can you get around comfortably without spending too much at the pump?  Well Toyota has just what you need. They have come out with an entire family of hybrid synergy cars that are roomy, comfortable, stylish, and are easy on the wallet. Whether you have a big family to cart around or maybe just yourself there is a Prius for you! Form the bigger station wagon style Prius V to the smaller Prius C, with two more in between I think you are going to love what you see. Now lets meet the family…
Meet the Prius
The one that started it all. The original Prius continues to impress, as it's the best-selling hybrid on the planet. Getting you and 51/48 estimated mpg.
Meet the Prius V
Yep, it's big. With more cargo room than most small SUVs, Prius V is the ideal combo of fuel efficiency and space – perfect for a family or just you pack rats out there. With the rear seatbacks down, Prius v offers 67.3 cubic feet of cargo space.  By volume, that's equal to 98 paper grocery bags. With the seatbacks up, there's 34.3 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats. Prius v, with its 60/40 split sliding reclining fold-down rear seats, gives you a variety of people and payload possibilities. All while getting you 42 mpg highway and city combined!
Meet the Prius C
Fun, compact and perfect for the city. The Prius c has the highest estimated city mileage of any vehicle without a plug. Getting you 53 est. mpg in the city. The Prius C has 17.1 cu. Ft. in cargo space and 87.4 cu. Ft in passenger room. It also happens to be the most affordable in the fam, making it even more fun.
Meet the Prius Plug in…
The plug-friendly Prius is the most advanced in the Prius Family. Charge it using a standard home outlet in about three hours  to maximize EV Mode  driving. After traveling in EV Mode, where Prius Plug-in Hybrid gets an estimated 95 mpg, it will automatically kick into hybrid mode with an estimated 50 combined mpg. So you get the best of both worlds.

Available in the Prius family is the Entune  system, a collection of popular mobile applications and data services delivered via most smartphones and some feature phones. Using Bluetooth  wireless technology or a USB cable, the features of Entune  are operated with the vehicle's controls or, for some services, by voice recognition. Entune  is scheduled to offer mobile apps for Bing, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, OpenTable and Pandora, and other data services.
